My Story

I have always knitted.

I remember when I was six years old and I’m nestled in my grandmothers lap, twisting and turning the knitting needles and trying to create a pair of woollen socks. I failed. Then I remember my teenage years twisting and turning the knitting needles and trying to create a cherry coloured Angora jumper. It turn out ugly.

To knit is not just to knit. It is a love/hate relationship. You can`t just quit. You throw the yarn, knitting needles, scissor in the wall and the next second you tenderly pick them up and put them in your precious pouch you made especially for them.

Since 2012 I have twisted and turned, unravelled, ripped, knitted, crocheted, learned new techniques, made some new up, loved and hated different pieces and along the way I have been lucky to grow my business.

And from all of this MICAS was born and now I´m on my way to show my next collection at the New York Fashion Week in September 2019.
